[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The INCI<\/strong> (International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients<\/strong><\/em>) is the list of ingredients contained in each beauty product: shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, face cream, etc. At the top, we can find the ingredient which is contained in larger quantities, followed by components with a lower concentration.<\/p>\n

A list of usually incomprehensible words<\/strong> which tend to be ignored, while we often trust more relevant writings, graphically bigger and clearer, that ultimately lead us to buy certain products. It is not about superficiality, but simply about the tendency to trust a brand<\/strong>, a symbol, a slogan<\/strong>, without personally verifying what is that we are going to put on our bodies (and will be absorbed by them!). INCI & \u201cRed-light\u201d ingredients.<\/h3>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Eliminating the products which contain \u201cred-light<\/strong>\u201d ingredients can help raise the safety level. Here\u2019s a list of the most common harmful ingredients, divided by category:<\/p>\n

PETROLATUM<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are talking about well-known substances, derived from refining oil<\/strong>. They are occlusive<\/strong> (they prevent your skin from \u201cbreathing\u201d) and not skin-compatible<\/strong>. On labels, they are listed with the words:
\nParaffinum liquidum, Petrolatum, Mineral Oil, Vaselina, Ceresin, Ozokerite<\/em>.<\/p>\n

SILICONES<\/strong><\/h4>\n

These substances are also not skin-compatible and create a film on skin and hair which gives a \u201cfalse\u201d moisturizing effect<\/strong>. On labels, they are listed with the words:
\nDimethicone, Dimeticonol, Polydimethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Cyclohexasiloxane, Quaternium-80, Amodimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Trimethylsiloxysilicate.<\/em><\/p>\n

PRESERVATIVES<\/strong><\/h4>\n

There are allergenic<\/strong> preservatives as Methylchloroisothiazolinone<\/em> and Methylisothiazolinone<\/em>. We can also find them in the form of:<\/p>\n
